         Main advantage of PBGs is that they are fully degradable

•         Increasing or decreasing oxide components or incorporating others offers further

           control over their dissolution rate

•         Conversion of PBGs into fibres and/or microspheres enables further control of their dissolution

         Glasses we produce mainly contain  P2O5, CaO and Na2O

         Useful for bone repair applications, as the principal chemical constituent of bone mineral

            s calcium phosphate
